What we collect
Your account details (email address), the Word templates and PDF files you upload, the documents generated from them, and basic usage records such as the number of pages processed, so we can run and bill the service.
How we use it
We use your files only to provide the service: analysing your template, extracting values from your PDFs, producing the filled documents and showing them to you. We do not sell your data.
AI processing
To read your documents, their contents are sent to a third-party AI model provider that processes them to extract the requested values. Do not upload documents that you are not allowed to share with such a processor.
Storage and retention
Files are stored privately and are only reachable through short-lived links. Uploaded PDFs and generated documents are deleted automatically after 30 days. Extracted values attached to a deleted PDF are removed with it. Templates are kept until you delete them. You can delete files and templates yourself at any time.
Learned examples
When you correct a value, a short snippet of the source text and the corrected value may be stored with that template to improve later results for you. They are deleted with the template, and you can clear them at any time.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to the service requires an account, and administrative actions are logged.
Your choices
You can delete your files and templates in the app. To have your account removed or to ask a question about your data, contact the person or team who invited you to PDF2Template.
